My Very First Etsy Treasury!

I have been actively reading posts, etc on the different Ning networks that I belong to. (See the badges down the right side of the blog?) Vintage Indie - Swanky Swag Winner!

Oh my goodness! Was I ever excited when I got an email from Gabrieal of Vintage Indie letting me know that I was the winner of the Swanky Swag for the month!  As I anxiously waited for the package to arrive, I kept visiting her blog and looking at the picture of the swag and checking out the etsy shops of the people who contributed to it for the drawing.  Some absolutely wonderful shops to peruse!  read more »

A Place To Bark

For those of you who haven't heard - Bernie Berlin's wonderful animal rescue organization, A Place to Bark - has entered Parade Magazine's Giving Challenge. This is a national competition, and the winning charity will receive $50,000 for their cause. This amount would be an incredible boost to Bernie's efforts. In order to win, she needs donations at a $10.00 minimum from as many individuals as possible. SO - if you haven't yet donated, please do so now! If you have already donated, please let your friends and family know and encourage them to donate as well!
